The Wolseley Car Club Victoria Committee regrets to announce cancellation of the State Rally to Hamilton planned for the weekend from 3rd of September 2021 for the following reasons:
- State Government Covid restrictions would most likely have not permitted the Rally to go ahead on 3rd September.
- We looked at moving the Rally one month to the first weekend in October, but many of the venues we were to visit are closed until further notice, and Alexandra Receptions which were to be our main meal location for three nights, is unavailable.
- It has come to our attention that many locals in Hamilton are now very wary of travellers from Melbourne, and the possibility of bringing the virus to the area, and many businesses are turning away visitors from greater Melbourne.
- If you have booked accommodation at the Bandicoot Motel or the Grangeburn Motel, we have taken the liberty of cancelling all WCC member bookings at both Motels. If you have paid any monies to a Motel for your accommodation, you will need to contact the Motel yourself to arrange for a refund.
Refund of Rally Fees paid to the Club:
All fees that have been paid to the Club are fully refundable. Please contact the Treasurer with your bank account details to receive a refund.
