To assist members participate in online meetings, please refer to this Zoom guide. There is nothing specific to the WCC Zoom meetings, so this advice is generic and can be used for any online meeting using Zoom.
Members with a registered Wolseley Car Club email address should receive member communications via our club email distribution list. Calendar invitations are sent prior to the upcoming General Meeting by the club Secretary.
Key Notes when setting up your Zoom:
- By default clicking the Zoom meeting link will open your web browser.
- For best results, please download the free Zoom Desktop Client application from https://zoom.us/download
- Audio configuration tips
- Zoom requires you to manually enable audio after joining a call.
- Leave the meeting and re-join ensuring you select “Join with Computer Audio” option
3. Ensure your correct microphone is selected, either the system default or another available camera microphone.
4. You can’t hear anyone on your meeting ?
- Is your computer sound muted / turn up external speaker volume ?
- Ensure your computer system speakers are selected in the Audio settings (press the little arrow ^ next to the Mute button)
- Close any other video conferencing applications such as Skype, Teams, Google Meet and try again.
